PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE

A results-driven, goal oriented Human Resource Executive with strong problem solving, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, motivational and leadership skills. Successfully created and implemented a focused corporate vision for a Fortune 200 company over the last twenty eight years as a Regional Sales Manager while completing a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management from Nova Southeastern University. In the last five years I have been a professor at two universities and have conducted over eighty classes in Human Resource and Master Level Business classes with an excess of 1,350 students. I am a creative mentor and trainer who has been an enthusiastic life-long learner, my multiple decades of human resource facilitation, presentation skills and business skills will enable me to be a more effective college educator and professional. As a Strategic Account Manager I am responsible for designing customer programs to increase sales. This is achieved through maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. The Strategic Account Manager promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach as well as demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs. The SAM must stay relevant and abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas. This sales territory has grown to the largest for the company in Florida and produced over 25 million in electrical sales.

As a Regional Territory Manager, responsible for thirty major electrical distributors and twenty key end users as a regional sales representative. Position encompasses the management, sales training, human resource activities and motivation of these key customers. Created strategic competitive pricing programs for this territory and was responsible for a sales goal in excess of seven million dollars. Created and implemented new forecasting and budgeting methodology for the sales force nationally as it relates to planning, implementation and territory management and human resource management.
